This Cisco SFP-10G-SR compatible SFP+ transceiver supports 10GBase-SR throughput up to 300m over OM3 multi-mode fiber. If using OM4 fiber, it can reach 400m link length. The SFP+ transceiver complies with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards. Featuring the hot-swappable form factor, it can plug into the 10G SFP+ port without needing power down. Moreover, it is programmed and tested to work with various Cisco platforms, including 10G Ethernet switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs), and media converters.
