Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable — Technical Overview
Looking for a high-performance network solution built to survive subterranean trenches and exterior elements? The Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable (SKU: 52N-6OUT-1000) is a professional-grade unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) outdoor bulk cable engineered specifically for heavy-duty exterior environments and direct earth burial.
Constructed with 23 AWG 100% solid bare copper conductors, an internal cross-web spline, and a rugged black CMX outdoor UV-resistant outer jacket, this Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable actively prevents signal attenuation, soil crushing, and solar degradation.
Swept and tested up to 550MHz under ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standards, every spool of our Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable supports full 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet up to 328ft (100m) and 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit) up to 180ft (55m), winding securely on a heavy-duty wooden drum for smooth pulling.
Engineered for Subterranean Trenches, Exterior Walls & High-Speed Outbuildings
Standard indoor PVC Ethernet cables quickly degrade, absorb groundwater, and fail when buried directly in earth or exposed to freeze-thaw cycles. Under National Electrical Code (NEC Article 800) guidelines, exterior network runs demand certified UV and direct burial protection.
Choosing a reliable Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable eliminates the costly requirement of running rigid PVC conduit for every exterior drop. Its rugged CMX waterproof jacket allows low-voltage integrators to lay the pure copper wire directly into dirt trenches or staple it along exterior walls, fences, and outbuilding spans with complete peace of mind.

Core Engineering & Pure Copper Outdoor Advantages
⚡ 100% Solid Bare Copper (23 AWG)
Zero CCA. Premium annealed pure solid copper conductors ensure maximum electrical conductivity, minimal DC resistance, and flawless PoE+ power delivery across long outdoor runs.
🛡️ CMX Direct Burial Rating
Rugged exterior jacket on every Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable is certified for direct underground burial in dirt trenches without protective conduit.
☀️ UV-Stabilized Weatherproof Shell
Carbon-black UV-inhibited outer skin resists cracking, chalking, and brittle failure under years of relentless direct sunlight and extreme seasonal temperatures.
🪵 Heavy-Duty 1000ft Wooden Spool
Wound on a reinforced job-site wooden drum with 2-foot sequential footage markings printed along the jacket for precise trench measurement and snag-free pulling.
Key Features of Cat6 Outdoor Direct Burial 1000ft Ethernet Cable
- True 100% Solid Bare Copper: Ultimate electrical conductivity and PoE+ reliability—never Copper-Clad Aluminum (CCA).
- Direct Burial Rated: Certified for direct underground burial in earth trenches without requiring protective PVC conduit.
- UV-Resistant CMX Jacket: Heavy-duty black outer shell prevents solar degradation and moisture penetration in outdoor environments.
- Internal Longitudinal Separator (Spline): Isolates all 4 twisted pairs to eliminate Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and preserve twist geometry.
- 550MHz High-Frequency Bandwidth: Supports 1 Gbps up to 328ft and 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit) up to 180ft (55m).
- Outdoor PoE Application Ready: Suitable for powering outdoor PTZ security cameras, wireless access points, and remote network gateways.
- Sequential Footage Markings: Printed every 2 feet along the outer jacket so technicians can track exact cable usage and remaining length on the spool.
